  1. Because the proposal changed. May's request was a continuing 1.5% tax on earned income. The board adopted an FY2027 recovery plan that reduces administration by 13%, certified teachers by 7%, and support staff by 5%, then placed a 1.00% earned income request on the November ballot with resolution 26-07-98.
